Step 2: (ENG1) Seafearers Medical Certificate

You can get this anywhere in the world. The truth is it does not have to be an ENG1, any national approved Seafarers Medical Certificate issued in your home country is valid worldwide on any Superyacht.

For example if you are living in Norway you can find Doctors here

Step 3: Valid Passport (Minimum 1 year)

The truth is you actually do not need anything else. Just your passport, STCW and Seafarers Medical is in 90% cases enough for me to employ you when I look at your CV.

If you have time and money, some other certificates could be beneficial, but please do not waste money on certificate you do not need, and I do not care about when employing you.  To start yachting a get a personal guide of exactly which certificate you need depending on your position, yacht size and location you can tailor make your package with your Instructor.
