Widely known for his love for yachts, David Geffen bought this 138-metre-long superyacht in 2004 from Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle. The Geffen Records founder has hosted a lot of parties on board for his friends from Hollywood.

Lurssen, the German shipbuilder, built the yacht to make it an engineering marvel. The yacht accommodates 18 guests, with the top deck saved just for the owner. The gigantic vessel offers a double-height cinema, a helipad, a gym, a spa, and a swimming platform.

4. Cyan by The Edge

Bought by U2’s lead guitarist, The Edge, in 2021 for USD 17-20 million, the Cyan is a special superyacht. It was refurbished by the guitarist’s wife, Morleigh Steinberg. Originally built in 1997, the Cyan features a beautiful dark hull. This 48.7-metre-long superyacht features 6 cabins to house 12 guests. 5. Seven by David and Victoria Beckham

Named after David Beckham’s jersey number, The Seven was built in 2021 and is part of the Riva 90’ Argo family of flybridge yachts. The 28.5-metre-long superyacht’s interior and exterior were both designed by Studio Officina Italiana Design, and it was built by the Ferretti Engineering Department. It stands out by having the sun lounging space at the foredeck, while two MTU diesel engines allow it to achieve a maximum speed of 30 knots.

6. Great White by Rafael Nadal

Costing USD 6.2 million, Nadal bought this 23.95-metre-long vessel in 2020 on his 34th birthday. One of the most famous celebrity superyachts, the Great White, was built in Poland by Sunreef Yachts, which gave it a fully customized Sunreef 80’ Power catamaran. The interiors are colored with Nadal’s favorites: beige, coffee, and cream. 7. Eos by Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller

The Eos was built in 2006 by Lurssen to be a three-mastered schooner powered by a 1,740 kW MTU engine. Furstenberg, the Belgian fashion designer, bought it in 2009 with her husband. Although it’s not been exclusively revealed, pictures have indicated that the superyacht has white furniture on wooden panelling with a wooden staircase leading to the upper deck. The 93-metre-long yacht can house 14 guests in seven cabins.

8. Dragonfly by Sergey Brin

The Dragonfly was bought by the Google co-founder in 2009. It measures 73.3 metres and is one of the most fuel-efficient yachts out there. Although luxurious, the Dragonfly is one of the most famous celebrity superyachts for helping in disaster relief missions. Brin has run relief missions to Ecuador, the Bahamas, and Vanuatu.

9. Eclipse by Roman Abramovich

Valued at around USD 1.5 billion today, the Eclipse was bought by the ex-boss of Chelsea FC for USD 590 million in 2010. Measuring 162.5 metres, it’s also one of the biggest celebrity superyachts. Served by 100 crew members, the nine-deck vessel houses 36 guests in 18 suites made with the most premium materials.

The main deck of the Eclipse contains a 16-metre swimming pool that rises up to the deck and can convert into a dance floor. Other amenities include a beauty salon, an exterior fireplace, a deck jacuzzi, and a tender garage. Moreover, it has two helipads and a hanger for a third helicopter. On top of all that, the Eclipse has missile detection.

10. Y721 by Jeff Bezos

Regarded as one of the world’s largest yachts, the Y721 is a 127-metre-long superyacht that cost Bezzos USD 500 million. The marvel was built in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, by Dutch shipbuilder Oceanco.

Having three large masts, the three-deck vessel shares a resemblance with the Furstenberg’s Eos. Apart from crew members, the Y721 is able to cater to 18 guests. Not only that, but it can also accommodate jet skis, a few smaller boats, and a helicopter for the Amazon boss.
